ABOUT IT

This is an electronic catalogue of games. The catalogue is designed for electronic downloads and online credit card transactions only. No shipping of a physical product takes place. Both the download and the transaction occur online.

There are two primary purposes to this arrangement. One is to get the games directly to you, whether or not they are currently available in a box or at the store's shelf, whether they are new, or whether they are old and no longer available. The second purpose is to get to you other high-quality games that, for a variety of reasons, do not make it to the store shelves, quality games that may not fit or meet the publisher's criteria or title line. It is in the same spirit that we would like to offer the catalogue as a vehicle for up-and-coming developers to introduce and sell their creations.

TRY IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT

All the games in the catalogue employ the activeMARK technology. This technology enables end-users to test-drive a trial version of an equipped software product before purchasing licenses to further levels and functions, or a complete version of that product via a secure online licensing sales process. Once an end-user successfully purchases a license, the purchased portion of the equipped software product is linked to the computer used to purchase the licenses. An equipped software product or copies of it that are transferred to another computer can only be used on the second computer until such a time as the user of the second computer also completes the online purchase process.

HOW TO DO IT

When you click on the "Buy it now" or "Try it free" buttons to the buttom-right of the product you choose, a standard download window will appear and the downloading of the game will start. Save the files that you are downloading to a local disk by following the on screen instructions. Most of the games in the catalogue are designed not to exceed 25MB of compressed data. Depending on your system and line speed, the download window should indicate the estimated time for the download to take place. Once downloaded, launch the installer application from your local disk and follow the on screen instructions once again.

Once installed, you should be able to play the free levels by choosing the "Try It" option or, if you like, the game can be purchased directly by choosing the "Buy It" option. The transaction can be executed from inside the game. Once executed, the protected portion of the game will be unlocked and the game will continue where it left off.

UP AND COMING

We'll be making limited selections at first, mostly of titles that we like or that can easily be enabled with the activeMark technology. We are also open to suggestions for other titles you would like to see in the catalogue. We will do our best to include titles that might be too "niche market" or too controversial for traditional publishers to accept. We also will be accepting submissions from independent developers for new and unpublished games. Only finished titles will be accepted at the moment.

SUBMISSIONS

Send a link or a sample of your title (demo) for review along with a concise description of the game. Screen shots that are readily available and/or any other material you may have that will help us evaluate the product adequately are desirable.
